Great Pyrenees Rescue and Sanctuary

Little Bear was loved by Judy & Mike and all our volunteers at the rescue. Unexpectedly he passed away Dec. 1st 2022, due what we believed was a stroke. Little Bear was very special to everybody at the rescue, although almost unadoptable because he was very anxious, nervous and always moving. He was adopted 2 times but bit somebody out of nowhere, never bit anybody at the rescue.

We will miss our Little Bear and wish him peace and love when he goes over the rainbow bridge.

Well- our Little Bear (aka Teddy Bear) is gone. One minute he was his happy little weird self, the next he had passed away in the field. We think something happened inside his head- a bad seizure or tumor burst. He always had this funny bump on top of his head, now it's gone. We are trying to find out if we can get a necropsy done- just so we know. He did not suffer. It was sudden. I will miss him terribly. He had his issues, but not with us. He was the strangest, sweetest little Pyr I've ever had. You can rest in peace now, Little Bear. See you at the Bridge.
