Chinook (Nook-Nook) is a 4-5 year old girl who has spent her life managing a 500 acre spread replete with horses and cows. She is an outside spayed Pyr who guards at night and loafs around the ranch in the daytime. She is very comfortable with men, women, and children as well as with other dogs and also with cats. She enjoys people and loves to snuggle. She is ok with a car ride and will tolerate a leash. Throughout her years she has always been outside and free to roam her unfenced land, always returning to the house area during the day. Unfortunately, she has decided to incorporate a nearby county road into her territory (i.e. sitting in the road). The owners have not been able to prevent this and have released her to PYRescue for her own safety. She would be ideal for a fully fenced family ranch.
